The beautiful thing about a quiet start to your morning is that you have a few, precious moments to worship God.
Music is such an inspiration to me, especially in the morning.
Psalm 135:3 "Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good;celebrate His lovely name with music."
This morning I took a few minutes to download several songs I heard on Christian radio. One of those songs was "True Love" by Phil Wickham.
I put the lyrics down below because the message is so powerful, so amazing. The amazing part is that this isn't just a story...it is the truth! How undeserving we are of such a gift, God's only Son.
All we need to do is accept that gift and then live our lives in honor, praise and worship to out Heavenly Father.
Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."
"True Love" by Phil Wickham
Come close listen to the story
About a love more faithful than the morning
The Father gave His only Son just to save us
The earth was shaking in the dark
All creation felt the Fathers Broken Heart
Tears were filling Heaven's Eyes
The day that True Love died, the day that True Love died
When blood and water hit the ground
Walls we couldn't move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died
Search your heart you know you can't deny it
Come on, lose your life just so you can find it
The Father gave His only Son just to save us
The Earth was shaking in the dark
All creation felt The Fathers broken heart
Tears were filling Heaven's Eyes
The day that True Love died, the day that True Love died
When blood and water hit the ground
Walls we couldn't move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died
Now, Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Oh, He is alive
He rose again
When blood and water hit the ground
Walls we couldn't move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died
Come close listen to the story
(Here is the video of Phil Wickham singing this song live.)
