Lost & Found

Bet you thought I was lost, huh? Or at least fallen off the face of the earth or something.

Well, I guess I just needed to step away for a bit and not focus on what I wanted to blog about next. I think I'll still be a bit sporadic for the rest of April too. It's just that so much is going on in our family that the computer was becoming a focus rather than an occasional enjoyment.

So, I just stepped back a bit to reexamine things. If felt/feels really good. I miss sharing some really cute, funny stuff the kiddos do. They are simply amazing and charming and funny. I love listening to them speak and interact. I enjoy the little comments and ideas they come up with too. They are a joy.

I'm sure I've lost all of your attention by now though. Whoever is left reading this is definitely loyal, I must say...lol.

Anyway, as I said before we have lots going on right now and life is definitely not boring! We're still trusting that God has an amazing plan for us and our family. We rely on Him to guide us through every step and decision. Not knowing what is in the future is definitely a test of faith. There are many uncertainties, but knowing that we do not have to worry about tomorrow is such a relief. God already knows our future. We don't need to worry or try to plan it out. We only need to trust Him to guide us and lean on Him for strength. How awesome is that?

I'll leave you with this bit 'o news and you may understand part of what I am talking about!

I'm only 6 1/2 weeks pregnant, so it's still pretty early. We just couldn't wait any longer to share our news. We already waited 4 weeks and that was torture...lol.

We are so excited that God chose to bless us again with a little baby. I still can't believe it and it became more real when we told our families today. They were beside themselves with happiness.

We ended up going to a dairy bar for ice cream after church and that is where we broke our news. We had not told the kids before we shared it with the family because we didn't want the news to leak out.

So, when I explained to Afton she was going to have another little brother or sister she promptly said, "I don't want a new brother or sister." A few minutes later one of my sisters asked me what we wanted (meaning boy or girl). Afton pipes up with, "Um, I want cookies n' cream." It was pretty funny!

So, anyway, that's one of big things going on!

Of course, I'll be updating and will have pics when I actually have something to show. Right now it's just a bit of leftover belly from Caleb. Not too exciting.

Now it's time for me to crawl into bed and sleep. This little one is kicking my butt in the sleep department. If I'm not in bed between 8:00 and 8:30pm I'm in trouble. As you can see I'm already late. Uh-oh....
